“Get F.I.T.” –
Fun Individualized Training
The concept behind “Get F.I.T.” was developed
to ensure my clients have fun while building the foundation
for a healthy lifestyle. By continually changing the workout
program with customized exercises, “Get F.I.T.”
helps my clients fight boredom, increase motivation, and speed
the results they want to achieve.
Basic “Get F.I.T.” Training
Warming Up and Stretching
Warming up and stretching is necessary before resistance training.
You should begin with some light to moderate cardiovascular
exercises for 10-15 minutes, followed by another 5-10 minutes
of stretching. Stretch the muscles you plan on targeting.
This readies your muscles for work and helps you avoid injuries.
Repeat this procedure at the end of your weight training session
to increase flexibility, reduce soreness and remove lactic
acid from the muscles.
“Get F.I.T.” Weight Training
Weight training, or "resistance" training, is the
core of any good exercise program. It strengthens your muscles
and bones and is essential to maintaining fitness. Good muscle
conditioning starts with working the largest muscle groups
like the abdominals, chest, back, shoulders and upper legs.
Correct Form
Using "correct form" when lifting weights is a MUST.
“Get F.I.T.” helps prevent injuries and makes
your training session much more efficient and effective. If
you are going to lift, do it right!
Jason Lazar’s “Get F.I.T.”
program will teach you what exercises to do and how to do
them correctly to achieve maximum benefits. Exercises done
incorrectly will make your workouts less productive and can
cause serious injury. Slow, controlled movements should always
be used. If you have to decrease the weight in order to lift
it correctly, your muscles will respond more effectively than
if you have to swing or jerk the weight up to complete the
exercise. Injuries to lower backs, knees, elbows, necks, etc.
happen from lifting weight incorrectly or using too much weight.
